Meeting Belle + Jasmine!

It's been a while since my last journal entry, but I had to share this experience!!
This past weekend, I was a volunteer at Fan Expo Vancouver 2019, making it my third time volunteering at this event. (If any of you normally go to Fan Expo Vancouver, let me know! Especially if you went this year!) It was a lot of fun, and I honestly recommend volunteering if you have these events going on in your area.
Among the celebrities I was able to meet there, I got to take a photo with David Mazouz from Gotham, but the two I was most nervous about were Paige O'Hara who was the original voice actress for Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Linda Larkin who voiced Jasmine in Aladdin.
You might've seen my recent fanart of Belle and the Beast, which I quickly threw together after finding out that Paige was attending Fan Expo this year. I absolutely had to do some sort of work to gift her.
I had only found out that Paige was a painter this year, so I thought it would be neat to give that quality to Belle as well and have her be a painter like Paige.
Anyway, I was able to give her the drawing and she was so incredibly sweet about it!
If anyone's interested in hearing the interaction, I recorded the audio here but with no video (we weren't allowed to have videos)
I was basically trying not to cry at the end ahaha!
When I went over to meet Linda Larkin, I quickly apologized to her that I couldn't produce a drawing for her as well in time as I was a university student. She was so gracious and sweet about it, and expressed that she loved what I did for Paige, and that she even wanted to give me a free autograph!
It was amazing to meet them... I'm still not quite back in my body after all that! <3

I'm currently in art school but off for the summer. I'm recently back from a trip up North in Canada, to Moricetown, which was excellent. I had loads of fun there and actually did learn a lot of things art-wise.
I'm heading into my Illustration major in September so fingers crossed that's gonna be awesome. Hoping to get a bunch of art done and uploaded for this summer, and would anyone still be interested in some commission work from me?
